Hi Homies!

This journey all started in 2015 when I first purchased a heady piece from a local shop. I couldn't wrap my head around how this  mesmerizing  work of art could be used to consume concentrates. It started a rabbit hole into learning all I could about this new world. I was a regular at every local head shop, specifically some special places called The Heady Gallery and Glassworx. After spending time in the local shops, I started following some of the artists they carry in shop on Instagram. I bid on some auctions and was lucky enough to win one! Long story short, the artist of the piece I won ended up living just a town over. I soon found myself spending as much time as I could at his place, learning everything I could about the industry.  I continued to study everything I could and made sure to talk to anyone who would listen about glass. After working in the "real" world for some years, I couldn't deny my passion any longer. This passion led me to purchasing glassworx in 2019. Here I was able to meet local and national artists and try and give the glass community of Pittsburgh a place to talk glass, learn new things, and meet like minded people. Because of the great artist and collector community in Pittsburgh, my job was easy. Soon new friendships where made, ideas shared, and passion found. With the success of GW Sean and I knew the community needed more, and took on the responsibility of finding the pipe makers and collectors of Pittsburgh a proper home that reflects the hard working and passionate people in the community. This brings us to Brand Name Glass, where the name doesn't matter and the people that make it possible do.
